Our next Caring Dads program runs February 3rd – May 26th, on Tuesday afternoons at Acorn Family Place.

This 17-week group offers a supportive, non-judgmental space for dads who are committed to building safer, healthier relationships with their children and their children’s mothers.

Entry is through an intake process, where you’ll meet with our Intake Coordinator, share some basic information, and make sure the program is a good fit. Appointments are required and usually take about an hour.

Your support helps more families access food support while creating paid work experience for caregivers in our community.

Last year, the Food Connections program:

• Delivered 1,110 food hampers

• Served 52 community breakfasts

• Hosted 24 cooking classes

• Created 605 paid work-experience shifts

Beyond these numbers, Food Connections keeps our centre nourished every day by brewing the tea and coffee, preparing snacks, and helping create the warm, welcoming space that brings our community together.
